Returning to my own domain in 2023
I'm Dan Allosso. I write, teach history, and advocate for Open Education and this is a more or less realtime record of the things I’m working on and thinking about. Right now (Fall 2023) I'm spending a lot of my time thinking about the courses I teach, my research and writing projects, and preparing for a new career, since my position at my university has been eliminated due to a budget crisis. So a lot of that content will show up here, in pages you'll find in the sidebar. Most random ideas appear first on the blog, and then migrate to their own pages if they develop some type of critical mass. In the past I've run several sites like history-punk.com or bradlaugh.com. Then I stopped hosting my own pages and had a Wordpress blog. I still have a Substack and a YouTube channel, but this will be my permanent home on the web.
